Powerless

This collection was exhibited as part of a group exhibition in the People's Museum Limerick in May 2025. Using a juxtaposition of sharp and soft materials like wire and polyester, this series of abstract corsets presents the viewer with a contrast that mirrors the gender power difference between men and women in our society. This project touches on major issues in modern Irish society such toxic masculinity, the oppression of women, as well as the rising reports of domestic and sexual abuse.
